Cliff Ashby, is a retired and honored member of the theater faculty at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in theater history from Stanford University. He previously taught at University of Florida and the University of Nebraska. He has published books on Greek theater and on Texas religious tent shows.
