The dismal life of an autodidactic pariah

People like him never belong.
Like the gargantuan, elephantine,
gothic chick, that no one is asking
to the prom, he spends his nights alone,

writing songs and poems. . .

Loathed by his teachers because
of his unabated skepticism, he was
regarded as a delinquent and
eventually kicked out of high school.

Detested by his family because
he would not subscribe to their religious
and laissez-fairy tales, he was
eventually kicked out of his home.

Conservatives think that he is too
liberal.
Liberals think that he is too
conservative.
He thinks that they are all
true believers,
agglomerating
to form one lethargic deity,
with a chronic want of imagination,
which ostracizes all who do not kneel down
in reverence
to its collective vigor.

Thus he spends his nights alone,

writing songs and poems. . .
