If you let the devil…

If you let the devil sharpen his horns
He will cozy up to you
Pour your drinks
Feed your family

If you let the devil shine his shoes
He will make you rich
He will be the loyalist of friends
Give you a better name

If you let the devil sleep in your house
He will keep you safe
Keep you interested
Keep you alive

If you let the devil in your life
He will let you in his
Shit-why not give it a try?

Goodnight

Inside my head
I have walls
They obscure my vision
Sad walls
Death walls
They block the bright little dots
Microscopic perfection
That put me under the influence
Free thoughts
Tiny miniscule dots
Thousands, millions of them
Electric dots between my eye balls an my eye lids
Closed tight I see their flawlessness
As the walls Berlin to nothing
I’m going under
I’m free for a short time
Tiny miniscule perfection
Bright dots
Thank you
Thank you
Goodnight
