Alone With All of You

She explained it to me this way: god put the world together and afterwards added men then women from dust filled both with blood, organs brains and put souls inside among veins, tissues, water – seventy five percent I’m told – and after all that humans were complete ready to be judged by their creator invisible as she may be I have seen many things become full

Global Warming – The Eloquent Engineer

In today’s politically charged environment, we are increasingly confronted with people supporting their particular agenda with misinformation and distortion. This form of dialog has reared its ugly head in our politics, in our schools, and even in the slightest interaction with strangers. Commentaries printed on the opinion pages of my local newspaper the last few weeks are prime examples of this rising epidemic of global hot air. Thanking the Lord

Ordinarily I ignore religion, just as I ignore astrology or palmistry. He has lately indicated, however, that he is more inclined toward deism, and has even endorsed a petition for the teaching of Intelligent Design in the British science curriculum. On November 4, 2007, Flew was … Read on…

Photos From A Shuttle Launch

Regular contributor of poetry Harvey Madison had an opportunity to be up close and personal at a Space Shuttle Launch. Harvey was kind enough to share those with us and some of them are presented below. You can find more (and larger) photos on Harvey’s web site. You can click on the images below to see a larger version of the photos. Harvey had press credentials (and a lot of talent) and was thus able to get close enough to … Read on…
